Viva Las Vegas!
My loyal traveling crew of sister friends and I stuffed our carry-on luggage and made our way to sin city for the ultimate girl’s trip! In this blog post I will give in depth descriptions and visuals of everything we did in Las Vegas, Nevada. Let’s get started!
We stayed at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino, which is located in the middle of the strip. The location was perfect, with convenient accessibility to everything on the strip. The hotel was moderately priced, and worth every penny. My favorite amenities were: self service check in & out, multiple dining options, and spacious rooms with a great view. I honestly do not have one complaint about this hotel. It was comfortable and quiet inside our guest room, and the double vanity bathroom (see pictures below) was a HUGE help for 4 girls to get ready in. It was perfect for our 4 night stay!
The Vegas Experience
First, let me say.. Vegas has SO much to do, it’s almost overwhelming! So our bucket list items were to tour all of the hotels on the strip, visit downtown Fremont Street, eat only at restaurants that our hometown didn’t offer, go to a pool party, attend a concert, and of course gamble. We accomplished about……. 98% of that. I still consider that, Mission Accomplished!
We barely gambled, that’s if putting a $1 in a slot machine and pressing random buttons count. We attended a pool party, but not on purpose. A promoter stopped us with free drink tickets to a day party. To our surprise it was a pool party at the Marquee, and we had our casual walking clothes on! That didn’t stop us from drinking, dancing, and people watching.
We attended the Migos concert at Drais Nightclub, which is the only hip hop club in Vegas. We also saw DJ Esco perform at the same club on another night. I do suggest this nightclub to anyone who is looking for a clean and luxurious hip hop club, but I would advise you to plan ahead and purchase tickets/and or booths ahead of time as prices are very expensive the night of for big name artists that are scheduled to perform.
We drank and ate, drank and ate, partied, slept. Drank and ate. Yup that summed up our weekend and it was perfect!
Dinner at Cabo Wabo– located inside the miracle mile shops at Planet Hollywood
The view from their patio is impeccable! Its located steps away from the strip, and the Bellagio fountains could be seen from our dining table. Live music and margaritas were an added plus 🙂
Breakfast at Ocean One Grill- located inside of miracle mile shops inside of Planet Hollywood.
Y’all. Y’all. Seriously. This place was so good and cheap we came back the next day. They had a $4.99 lunch menu AND 3 for $10 drinks. Can you say WINNING! That’s a deal in Vegas
Dinner at Gordon Ramsey Burger- located inside of Planet Hollywood.
I give this place 5 stars!!! We were able to put our name on the waiting list, walk to the room to freshen up, and within 45 minutes we were sitting in an upscale casual eatery. Hands down the best burger I’ve had!
Breakfast at Hash House A Go Go – located inside the Linq Hotel
The line was soooooo long, I just knew the wait would be 2 hours. Surprisingly, it was only 40 minutes and I was entertained with a free selfie kiosk located in the lobby.
All of the menu items are insanely large, but reasonably price, and might I add full of flavor.
Lunch at China Poblano – located inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel
The decor and ambience of this place made me feel like I was in China, not Vegas! Full of culture, knowledgable servers, and delicious small plates.
STK- located inside the Cosmopolitan
Our final night was celebrated with reservations at STK steakhouse. The food was superb, and the service was unmatched!
